About ZoomISO
ZoomISO is Zoom’s official, high-end offering for remote contribution and the flagship production tool in the Emmy Award-winning Zoom for Broadcast suite. This macOS application uses Zoom’s raw data and high-bandwidth architecture to deliver high-quality, isolated audio and video streams of remote Zoom participants to production protocols including NDI, SDI, SRT, and Dante.
As part of the Liminal App production tool offerings, ZoomISO v3 enables television broadcasters, enterprise production teams, and content creators to bring in remote guests from around the world at a moment’s notice for important live conversations. It supports popular production systems and HD video in supported Zoom calls, with a flexible interface, powerful processing engine, and support for Zoom Enhanced Media.
ZoomISO Advanced Features
Output Effects
ZoomISO v3 includes a customization "Output Effects" feature for each video output that allows for live adjustments like panning, scaling, and color correction. In addition, the Output Effects tool can be used to add overlays such as meeting reactions and name tags directly onto the video streams.
The Output Effects editor also displays a suite of scopes and guides to help users make adjustments. These features can help prepare a remote video feed for broadcast without requiring expensive downstream hardware to make helpful changes to each stream.
In-app Isolated Recording
For media production workflows requiring quick access to the individual streams of remote Zoom guests to use for subsequent editing, ZoomISO v3 offers in-app recording capabilities without any additional software required.
ZoomISO can record hardware-accelerated codecs including H.264, HEVC, and Apple ProRes422 LT in a variety of container formats. The new recording feature supports segmented "growing files" that can be directly imported into popular editing tools like Adobe Premiere or Davinci Resolve while the recording is in-progress, with new segments appearing automatically on the editing timeline.
Any video output in ZoomISO can be set up for recording to a local disk or network drive. Recording in ZoomISO v3 is a great way to get immediate access to recordings of remote guests without using any external tools to capture the live outputs.
Interpretation Audio
ZoomISO Advanced Audio channels can be set to Interpretation mode. When this mode is used, the Selection option will display the various interpretation languages available in the Zoom meeting. Interpretation channels will contain a mix of all audio from that language, so if there are multiple interpreters in the same channel taking turns, no on-the-fly configuration changes within ZoomISO are necessary during the hand-off. This powerful system allows you to obtain the Zoom interpretation audio directly into your production infrastructure.
Talkback - IFB for Zoom
Talkback creates direct, private audio channels to individual Zoom guests, without sending the audio to the entire meeting. When enabled, ZoomISO captures and routes audio from any configured input channels across macOS audio sources, Blackmagic Design Desktop Video devices, and NDI streams. The Talkback system supports producers using ZoomISO directly to communicate with Zoom guests, or it can be configured as part of a larger comms system where ZoomISO is the final-mile bridge for an existing IFB solution. Receiving participants get a passive in-app notification that they're being spoken to privately, and if configured, ducking can automatically reduce the other meeting audio on their end, either as a blend or a full interrupt, so the Talkback signal cuts through cleanly.
High Bandwidth Mode
ZoomISO has access to a high bandwidth link to the Zoom Cloud. By default, ZoomISO can extract up to 30Mbps of content from Zoom. When joining a meeting using Zoom Enhanced Media, ZoomISO can extract 100Mbps, or approximately 16 1080p 30FPS video feeds from a single instance of the app on supported hardware.
Participant Management Interface
ZoomISO v3 provides a user interface optimized for efficiently managing large meetings and webinars. In the Participants View, you can search for a user by name, or you can apply a combination of filters to help you find exactly who you are looking for in an alphabetized list of all participants.
Integrations — The Power of OSC

Take advantage of OSC Routing for app management and integrations. ZoomISO’s OSC control over output routing and application settings allows you to better remotely manage your contribution system and switch participants on the fly. ZoomISO includes our popular ZoomOSC API, which powers integrations with third party interfaces including BitFocus Companion, Isadora, and Universe Control.
